Tejarat Bank current account system
Tejarat Bank current account system is the result of cooperation between DPI and Tejarat Bank. It has a three-layered architecture including “Branch” layer, “Central (Server)” layer and communication” layer. Branch layer is implemented by Tejarat Bank while Server and communication layers are implemented and produced by DPI.
The communication layer is composed of a series of C language functions, intended to provide a communication link through which information is transferred between server and the branch.
The server side is divided into two parts. The first part includes COBOL/CICS application programs whose duty is to meet the requests of the Branch side application.
It also embraces the database system. The second part is composed of a series of Visual Basic applications which define the users and Branches and also provide for the control reports.
In general, issuance of cheque notebooks, settlements, withdrawals, transfers, modifying account to current account , customer definition, blocking and unblocking of accounts, cheque notebooks and a single cheque, user and Branch definition, viewing and signature creation, various reports generation and so on, are the most important activities in this system. At present, using the current account and Branch access, this system is used in relation with advanced services too (Services like ACH, RTGS, Internet , SATNA, money transfer, online settlement, etc).
